I had the BEST night’s sleep last night. Like most recent nights I wasn’t too settled at first, but after some sweet songs from my mum I fell into a deep, deep sleep, and didn’t wake until it was getting light outside. I felt so good when I woke up. So did my parents!

This morning we went on a fun trip to the St Kilda Farmer’s Market. At the market we met lots of friends, and there were lots of other babies, and lots of hairy dogs. We bought goat’s cheese and olives and mushrooms, and then went to a groovy cafe.

After that we walked back home, and began to prepare a big feast. Here I am helping my mum make some pizza dough, while my dad was struggling to light the barbecue. Lots of friends came to visit, and even we watched a bit of the football - it was actually quite exciting in the end, even for our Canadian visitors who seemed to make as much sense of the game as I could.

Just mucking around with some of my favourite toys. Here I am with Babar, the alphabet spider, and my new favourite toy: the pentapus (like an octopus, but with only 5 legs).

I also played a fun game of “this little piggie” with my mum, and ended up getting my first taste of pork - I’m not too sure my parents approve of that dietary choice!

But the highlight of the day was definitely going to see Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. I had a great time watching this fun and sometimes scary film. My favourite part was probably in the end credits, where the bunnies were rubbing noses - I just love doing those ‘bunny kisses’!

Today I had a visit from Nanna Sandra’s friend Sharron, who has come all the way from New Zealand. It is always fun meeting new people, and we had a great play this afternoon.

Since then I’ve just been hanging around, playing with my parents, showing off my cool pink beanie. We couldn’t work out which photo was the best, so we decided to put up the entire series.
