More bUGS!

bUGS articleThis afternoon I took Wibbly along to see to The bUGS, our first genuine sticky-carpet pub gig complete with screaming fans in the mosh pit. I think Be-be was a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing, so we largely hung back with daddy, listened to the groovy music, and danced in our chair.

bUGS articleAlthough it was very loud and very hot and very crowded we had such a great time. I loved their Incy Wincy Spider song, and even sang along with them at the start. Giant Squids was also fabulous, as was their title tune To Be a Bug. But my favourite song was a bit of a surprise: a cover of an obscure 1970s song called Love is All, written by Roger Glover from Deep Purple for the rock opera The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper’s Feast - it also has a fabulous video clip that I love watching.

Yay for the buGSIn the mosh pit
