Yum Cha

May 1st, 2007 by Beth

I shared a special evening with my parents tonight while Annalena stayed home with auntie Mel - we went out to dinner at the Oriental Tea House, a yummy yum cha restaurant. My parents celebrated with a vegetarian banquet, and I just enjoyed the atmosphere (and some yummy mummy milk).

Alexander

May 2nd, 2007 by Annalena

Mummy’s cousin Kerrie-Anne came to visit today with her husband Chris and little boy Alexander. We all had some yummy cake and then went outside, where I had a great time playing in the sand pit and cubby house with Alexander while our parents drank tea and cuddled Beth.

Raining at the Farmers Market

Farmers Market - balloons in the rain

It is hard to believe since it hasn’t really rained for so long, but today we got quite soaked at the Veg Out Farmers Market. I was running around with Mila and Rex, and we were waving our balloons around and chasing the seagulls and and running away from the dogs, when suddenly our parents ushered us all into a small shelter. Of course, Mila and I ignored them, and kept running around in the rain - who knowns when we’ll next get the chance?

Hanka

Today Grandpa and Bianca came over with a big surprise: they brought along Bianca’s mum Hanka (Helen). I’m so lucky to have so many great-(step)-grandparents.

Hello Lola, bye-bye Mel

May 16th, 2007 by Beth

Tomorrow morning auntie Mel is leaving on an aeroplane to go to live in another city - and she’s taking her meow-meow Bella with her. We are all going to miss Mel (and Bella) so much.

Tonight they stayed at our place, and a few friends came over to say bye-bye to Mel. I made friends with a beautiful baby called Lola (and her parents Paula and Wayne), and we all celebrated Mel’s going away in style - although Annalena was in bed asleep for most of the fun.

At the See-saw park

May 26th, 2007 by Annalena

Today I went with mummy and daddy and Bethany to a different park - not the “train park” and not the “big park” (Greenmeadows, where I fell off the swing a couple of weeks ago). I call this new park the See-saw park because it has a fun see-saw that I can play on with mummy.
