We went to visit my cousin Thomas today. Well, he’s my grandpa’s cousin’s grandson, if that makes any sense to you. He’s almost the same age as me, born just 10 days after me, but he makes me feel quite petite.

A surprise visit from two of my cousins. Min and I ran around the fantastic playground with my dad while Beth and Izzy got to know each other and our mums swapped stories.

Guess what I did for the first time today!

This afternoon we went back to the St Kilda Adventure Playground and met up with Mila and Famke.

 

While Mila and I were running around with my dad our mums and sisters were hanging about in the sand pit.

Thanks uncle Heath and Steph. I love playing with my Play Doh (although I call it “potato”). I especially like making long star and moon shaped worms and then cutting them up with the scissors. I’ve also pulled out the home made playdoh that my cousins Miles and Masio gave me for my 1st birthday and love squeezing it through the worm-maker.

 

Another early morning - Annalena likes to wake up around 6am, runs into mum and dad’s bedroom where I’m sleeping in bed with them, and gets one of us up to play with her. As you can see, dad isn’t a great morning person, though he’s happy to play if he doesn’t have to get out of bed.

After we all got up this morning we walked around to one of our favourite cafes and met up with Grandpa and Bianca for a yummy breakfast.

 

Guess where I went today! We saw elephants, butterflies, tigers, orang-utans, lions, giraffes, meerkats, big brown bears (I’m not scared!), otters, and lots of other fabulous creatures.

 

Compare this to to Annalena’s injection day when she was the same age as I am now.
