Diary entries for September, 2007
Tasmania
September 9th, 2007 by AnnalenaWe went on the aeroplane. It was Beth’s first time on a plane so she made sure she was very familiar with all the safety instructions:
Then we drove straight to the Freycinet Peninsula. I went for a fun walk on the beach with my daddy and then we saw a beautiful sunset on the Lodge balcony:
Jill, Callan and Luca came to visit us the next day, and we all hiked across to Wineglass Bay for a picnic on the beach:
After a fabulous two days in Freycinet we drove up to Launceston to visit Uncle Heath and Stephanie. On the way we stopped for pancakes at Elephant Pass and had a play in Launceston City Park:
After a great time staying overnight with Heath and Steph we drove to Burnie and had a yummy lunch with Poppy Kerry and Vicki:
In Burnie we stayed with Nanna Sandra. As well as having a great time playing with Nanna we went on a visit to a nearby alpaca farm:
We also went down to the beach at Burnie where I had an ice cream and we walked on the beach and playing in a nearby park:
Nanna Sandra’s bath is really small. Or maybe I’m just much bigger than I was when we were last here.
On our last day in Tasmania we headed down to Penguin for the Sunday market. I listened to some country music, drove a fast car, and had a butterfly painted on my face:
Go Cats!
September 29th, 2007 by AnnalenaFor Grand Final eve at the baby centre yesterday we all dressed up in the colours of our favourite team. I dressed in St. Kilda colours of course (since I live in the area and once went to see them play), but also showed my support for the home team by wearing my pussy cat tail and whiskers. Go Cats!
Justine
September 29th, 2007 by AnnalenaThis morning my dad took me to see my favourite performer, Justine from Play School, who put on a fabulous show at the National Theatre in St Kilda. It was SO GOOD! I sang along with her and copied all her dance moves and got all the other boys and girls up and dancing out of their seats. Mummy dancing!!!
